Steps to Set Up Your Reseller Account
The following steps will allow you to get started with your own reseller account. If you have
any questions, please call the tollfree support number in your control panel or use our
support button in the Server Control Panel to send an email.
Rosserver.com and REM Services are very interested in helping you to be successful
in this undertaking.
Step 1: To set up your name servers, (Plus! only) go in your control panel and click
on the Virtual Name Server icon.
Please Note: If you want to use your own name servers,
you must also register these name servers with your regular registrar with the IP
addresses we provide. If we registered your domain name just tell us and we
will register your nameservers for you. It may take approximately 4-6 working
days for the registration to be completed.
Step 2: It is a very good idea to notify tech support to test your nameservers before
transfering any domain names to these new nameservers!
Step 3: Go back to your control panel and click on the Add Domain icon.
Fill out the form. Choosing the correct radio button will select the transfer
method or automatically send out the InterNIC registration for the additional domain.
If you choose Rosserver to register the domain name for you it will be $15 per year --
no separate bill from Internic, we give you the lowest price possible to help you so
that you can afford to open many more accounts.
Step 4: After adding a new domain, you should see the name of
the additional domain you have added on the left column (under sub-domains) within 10
minutes, (you may have to refresh) Click on the name and hit the "e-mail
me" button. That will e-mail you the IP number, as well as username
and password of the additional domain. You are responsible for notifying your
customer of this information (if you wish them to have account access) many of our
web designers / resellers charge their customers extra for changes that they make for them
in the control panel.
